Description: The Festival of Cultures is a celebration of cultural diversity, attracting over 7,000 guests. Drawing participants from the region and from neighboring states, this event is free to all. Families, friends, neighbors and colleagues meet and enjoy all the ethnic flavor that it is possible to absorb in a single day. As folk music drifts over the crowd or Basque dancers spin and twirl between the laughing members of the audience, each of us begins to see the world through a wider lens. Wander through the ethnic crafts, eating a Laotian egg roll or sipping Italian coffee and then tour the 3,000 works of art on display in the Cultural Talent Demonstration. Children's cultural activities abound in every area and they are free to all our young guests. Our entertainment stage is busy nonstop with music, dancing and story-telling! The festival is on the grass under the trees. Join us! |
