Description: Annual Furniture Race: Join us slope side for this Big Mountain tradition. Every year, Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort hosts the Annual Furniture Races on the Saturday of closing weekend. Entry rules are simple -- race participants attach skis to couches and other assorted 'furniture,' are towed to the top of a ski slope by a snow cat, then race down the mountain, competing for closest to the Bulls Eye, Best of Show, Most Likely to be put back in the Living Room, etc . Racers must be 21 years or older and able to steer and brake the furniture and are required to wear a helmet.
Directions: The Annual Furniture Race will take place at Big Mountain Resort.
