Description: Glasgow is situated in northeastern Montana where the native grasslands have remained relatively unaffected by today's urban and agricultural sprawl. For this reason the first annual Feather Fest promises to provide a birding and wildlife experience you will not soon forget. On our numerous field trips that we will offer, bird enthusiasts will have the opportunity to identify such birds as the McCoun's Longspur, Mountain Plover, Sprague's Pipit, Long-billed Curleu, Sage Grouse and the LeConte's Sparrow. In addition to getting too know our 'Friend's of Flight'; festival-goers will be able to attend seminars ranging from beginning birding to rare bird identification. We also will be hosting an informal social on Friday night followed by a banquet Saturday night. For additional information, contact the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, 406-228-2222 or email us at chamber@nemontel.net
Directions: Glasgow Feather Fest will be held at the Cottonwood Inn, located on US Highway 2 East.
