Description: On the last weekend in April, closest to the date of the actual arrival of the Lewis & Clark Expedition 200 years before, history will be revisited at this significant event at the Confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers.

Saturday, April 30th, activities, also at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center, will include opening ceremonies with the Lewis & Clark Honor Guard and speakers Clay Jenkinson as Meriwether Lewis and Hal Stearns as William Clark. Activities featured include traditional native american encampments, historic encampments and hands on activities and demonstrations. Later in the day, activities move upstream to Trenton Lake and Park for a Saturday night buffalo feed and entertainment by Metis Fiddlers.

On Sunday, May 1, activities focus on Fort Union where there will also be encampments and demonstrations. Fort Union and Fort Buford are 3 miles apart and located approximately 24 miles from Sidney. During this time, Corps of Discovery II will be in Williston, North Dakota, 45 miles from Sidney.
