Description: September 9 - 12, 2004, beautiful, historic downtown Bozeman, Montana hosts the largest convergence of top film industry leaders coming together to meet one-on-one with the top student filmmakers from around the world. Dedicating four intensive days to the business of the arts, HatcH is the most powerfully packed mentorship program for future filmmakers, musicians, and artisans in the world.While anchored in film, HatcH showcases many forms of visual and audio arts through workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions, small group peer and professional power sessions, music concerts, and film screenings. Invited artisans are the top student filmmakers from around the world and selected industry leaders, celebrities, musicians, and artists. Side-by-side, these artisans showcase their work in competition and non-competition formats. Screening in competition are the best student films submitted by selected film schools represetning Asia, Europe, Australia, South America, and North America. Showcased non-competition films include the surprise premieres of two independent films, the premiere of Rick Schroder's feature film directorial debut, Black Cloud, and selected films of Peter Fonda, Jeff Bridges, and John Dahl.
