Description: A series of events celebrating all the recreational opportunities offered by the river and its surroundings. Participants receive complimentary admission to picnic and celebration party.GARNET LOOKOUT TOWER RUNNERS CHALLENGE (9 a.m. - Noon): Run for all ages up to the Garnet Lookout Tower overlooking the Gallatin River. FLYFISHING CLINIC (10 a.m. - Noon): Learn the tricks of the trade from local fly fishing experts. Garnet Lookout Tower Runners Challenge (9 a.m. - Noon): Run for all ages up to the Garnet Lookout Tower overlooking the Gallatin River Climbing Clinic on the Banks of the Gallatin (10 a.m. - Noon): Kids between the ages 10-16 are welcome to join instructors from the Bozeman Climbing Club. GALLATIN RIVER PICNIC (12:30 - 2:00 p.m.): Come enjoy music and Gallatin River lore & history from local experts. Bring your own lunch or food will be available for purchase from a local vendor. GALLATIN RIVER CLEANUP ( 2:00 - 5:30 p.m.): Show your appreciation for the Gallatin River and all its beauty by participating in a river-wide clean-up. All participants get into evening celebration party for free! GALLATIN RIVER CELEBRATION PARTY Bucks T-4 (6:00 - 10:00 p.m.): Enjoy a barbeque, beer and music (by The Awesome Polka Babes) to celebrate the day's activities and the Gallatin River. Everyone involved in the events and river clean up receives free admission.
