Description: The Historic Crail Ranch; a homestead museum in Big Sky, Montana is the location of the one day quilt festival on July 23, 2005 from 10am - 3pm. There will be various speakers and demonstrations all during the festival that will appeal to all quilters from novice to advanced. Community members bring antique quilts to share and new quilting creations will also be on display. There will also be exhibitors selling quilts as well as quilting supplies so you can create your own heirloom. The unique log structure preserves the story of the Frank Crail family and their life in the Big Sky community in the early 1900s
Directions: The Quilt Festival will be held at the Historic Crail Ranch in Big Sky's Meadow Village. Follow the Big Sky Spur Road (Highway 64) west off of Highway 191 for 2 miles until you reach Little Coyote Road. Turn right on Little Coyote and follow until Spotted Elk appears on the left. Historic Crail Ranch is on the left hand side of Spotted Elk.
