Description: The 4th Annual National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Women in the Outdoors Event will offer a variety of hands on workshops for women 14 and older. some of the classes being offered are: Archery, Leave No Trace Back Country Cooking, Shotgunning, Outdoor Survival and much more. Through this event, women from all walks of life will be given the opportunity to experience the thrill of outdoor activities, gain knowledge without the fear of intimidation or expectations and have the ability to use materials/equipment necessary with the guidance of expert volunteer instructors. The event will include a luncheon along with a silent auction, door prizes and raffles. In addition, this one day event will allow women 14 and older to learn more about the NWTF's mission to conserve wild turkeys and preserve the hunting tradition and to develop a greater understanding of wildlife conservation and met others who share their enthusiasm.
