Montana Events 4th of July Amateur Rodeo 07/04/05 Listing Type: Event City: Terry Montana Phone: 486-5540 Description: Join us at the Annual 4th of July Amateur Rodeo. Kids events start at 9:00am and include stick horse race, tire crawl, boot race and dummy roping. Calcutta starts at 12:15pm and the Grand Entry at 1:00pm. $30 adult entry fees, phone in to Kerry Erickson, 406-486-5540. Events include 14 and under steer riding, saddle bronc, bareback, wild horse race, calf roping, ladies barrel racing and breakaway, bulldogging and bull riding. After the rodeo, Jackpot team roping keeps the entertainment going. Entry fees added to purse. There are concessions for food and beer available throughout the day. Some years, we have a dance afterwards; otherwise, head downtown to Roy Rogers Saloon or the American Legion Club. Come and enjoy! Directions: 4th of July Amateur Rodeo will be held in Terry. Exit Interstate 94 at the Terry Exit North. Turn left at Spring Street, first main road. Go through downtown and many businesses. After about 4 miles, turn right at the County Fairgrounds sign.
