Description: The fourth annual Loggers Day is July 15-16 at the south end of Darby in a field at the corner of Tin Cup Road and U.S. Highway 93. Festivities begin at 11:00am. Logging competition and general kids events will be held throughout the day. Logging competition includes Log Roll, Speed Cut, Single Cross Cut, Double Cross Cut, Jack and Jill Cross Cut, Speed Chopping, Axe Throw, Wrapper Throw, Accuracy Fall, Log Peeling, Hot Saw, Hot Start, One Cut, Choker Race Saw, Split and Stack, Cookie Stack and Log Loader Stack. Cash prizes awarded. Kids' events include Sawdust Pile, Greased Pole Climb, Tricycle Race, Tug of War, Axe Throw, Tong Sling and watermelon eating contest. Great prizes for kids. There will be vendors, educational booths, great food and spirits, live music and raffles throughout the day, making this event a fun-filled family day! Something for everyone!
Directions: Loggers Day will be held south of Darby, Highway 93, first right, turn after Tin Cup Road.
