Description: The Grand Ball of 1903 commemorates the completion of the historic H.G. Robinson home restoration. The two story home, originally built in the late 1800's, was rebuilt after a fire in the early 1900's and features era furnishings. The property is situated adjacent to the Phillips County Museum on US Highway 2 in Malta.

The Victorian Garden, completed by the Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club, will be the location of the Grand Ball on the fall evening of August 13, 2005. Required dress is from the period of 1903, marking the 102nd anniversary of the home and styles of the day. The ball will feature an orchestra playing tunes of the early decade such as waltzes, Montana reel and more. Fishermen are welcome to throw a line into the Milk River which is located to the rear of the property and try their luck at landing a pike, walleye or even catfish.

Refreshments will be included in the ticket price. All proceeds benefit the Robinson Home project. For additional information contact Jane Ereaux at the Phillips County Museum or by email.

Directions: The Grand Ball of 1903 will be held at the historic H.G. Robinson home located adjacent to the Phillips County Museum on US Highway 2.
