Description: This is an Annual Event, Days of '85, celebrating our beginning, which was a huge success for the Centennial held in 1985. There is an emphasis for the 4-H at the fair, including individual exhibits for garden produce, crafts, canning, etc. The Carter County Quilt Show is held at the same time as the Days of '85 and features heritage quilts at the Carter County Museum and modern quilts at the elementary school. On Sunday the parade is held at 11:00am each year on Main Street. The Artists of the Prairie have an annual art show during the fair which displays a traveling art show as well as local talent.

Fireman's Ball is Friday night. Rodeo is Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Street dance and Gospel singing at the Baptist Church are on Saturday night and parade with a band is Sunday morning at 11:00am.

Directions: Days of '85 can be found if coming from the north area; proceed on Highway 7, drive down the hill and turn right on Main Street, proceed for 3 blocks until you arrive at the corner of the high school area, and the rodeo and exhibit buildings are visible.
